The Large Munsterlander is an excellent gundog for working thick cover both in woodland and moorland. This makes them extremely suitable to use for the austringer flying shortwing hawks. Equally they have also found favour with longwing falconers.

Gracie my second Large Munsterlander bitch puppy started to show her potential in her first twelve months of training. In these photographs she is hunting both woodland pheasant and moorland red grouse.
