I had given myself a year to first get my young Large Munsterlander under some control before I introduced her to a hawk. That was the plan, in the end I obtained a young parent reared domestically bred male goshawk in the August when Gracie was around nine months old. At first introduction she was a little aggressive towards this flapping thing on my fist and I was a bit concerned, but with gentle persuasion she very soon came round to accept the idea. At feeding times she also was given tidbits in the form of small biscuits and that soon started to look upon this hawk with more inclusive interest. | ||
